Roulette Bets


Roulette bets are divided into two large categories, namely the inside bets and the outside bets. The inside bets are the following: straight bets, line bets, corner bets, street bets, and split bets. The outside bets are as follows: red or black bets, even or odd bets, column bets and dozen bets.

The inside bets, as their name suggest, are to be found on the inside of the roulette table and give you the chance to bet on numbers or number combinations. The outside bets are represented by the outside area of the table and contain all alternative bets. Let's look at each bet a bit more in-deeply.

Inside Bets


Roulette Straight Bets

- This are the simplest forms of roulette bets, meaning you have to choose one number, and if you get it right, you'll be paid out 35 to 1.

Roulette Street Bets

- Here, you'll have the chance to bet on three numbers for the same amount of money. To make a street bet, you must place your chips on the outside line of the number you wish to bet on. For a correct pick, the payout will be 11 to 1.

Roulette Split Bets

- This bet gives you the possibility to wager on two numbers that are placed next to each other. To make a split bet, you'll have to position your chips on the line that separates the respective two numbers.

Roulette Line Bets

Roulette Odd or Even

- Similar to the previous bet type this option lets you wager on odd or even numbers. To place this bet, you must put your chips on the marked field of the table. Likewise, it pays even money.

Roulette Column Bets

- If you look at a roulette table you'll see three areas marked with "2 to 1" which represent individual columns. If you bet on one of these columns, and a number shows up that is in the respective column you will be paid 2 to 1.

Roulette Dozen Bets

- This bet lets you choose either the first dozen (1 to 12), second dozen (13 to 24) and third dozen (25 to 36) of numbers. The payout is 2 to 1.
