The player that follows him needs to make a so-called little blind bet matching up half of the big blind bet.

After this, each player receives two cards from the dealer, both face down. Next, the players need to make a bet, at least matching up at the first blind bet. After the first betting round, three community cards are placed on the middle of the table face up. The next phase is another betting round, where the first player to bet can either check or place a bet. People also have the chance to raise their bets, but then each one of the other players that want to remain in the game has to do place a bet that matches up the raised bet.

In the next step, another face up card will be dealt on the middle of the table. After this, another betting round follows with the same rules as the previous one. During the next step, the dealer will place the fifth and final face up card on the table. The final betting round follows after this, with the same rules as the previous ones.

The last round is called the showdown, where the remaining players in the game will have to reveal their cards.
