Renowned online and land bases casino and sports betting operator William Hill announced that it renewed its sponsorship deal with the popular UK McCoy's Premier League Darts tournament. William Hill has already a long partnership with this sports event.

One of the biggest marketing and sponsorship successes of William Hill in 2011 was the collaboration with the Grand Slam of Darts at the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton. In exchange for advertisement rights, William Hill supported the event financially.

The new advertisement deal between William Hill and the Premier League Darts will enable the company to offer its players the possibility to bet on the upcoming darts events in 2012. Also, darts players participating in the competition will be required to wear T-shirts with the William Hill logo and brand.

After the announcement, Premier League Darts chairman Barry Hearn commented the following:

"We thank William Hill for their continued backing. The William Hill Grand Slam of Darts was a huge success and it's great to welcome them as the official betting partners of the McCoy's Premier League Darts."

Chief marketing officer at William Hill Kristof Fahy expressed his delight regarding the new sponsorship agreement. He pointed out that darts is one of the most rapidly increasing sports in the UK and on the planet and that he's excited to support this renowned UK event.

William Hill in 2011 was able to close an impressive number of sponsorship agreements with various sports and sports events mostly from the United Kingdom. One of the highlights of 2011 was when the company managed to become the official sponsor of The Scottish Cup organized by the Scottish Football Association.

Later in 2011 William Hill also became the official partner of the famous UK Snooker Championship a deal that gave the venture extensive advertisement rights and publicity. But probably the biggest achievement so far was the deal between the venture and the Football Association, making William Hill and official FA partner until at least 2014.

William Hill is one of the biggest and oldest UK sportsbooks available. The company also owns a prestigious online division which is made up of William Hill Sports, William Hill Casino, William Hill Poker and William Hill Bingo.
