Playtech Completes Takeover of Ash Gaming

In a press release at the end of last week Playtech announced that it finally managed to close the acquisition deal with Ash Gaming and took over all of the company's shares. The total sum to be paid for the acquisition was said to be £23 million. From this sum £15.5 million has already been paid while the remaining £7.5 million will be paid over the course of three years.
Ash Gaming is an online gaming software developer created in 2002. The company is relatively small, but despite this it managed to create an extensive portfolio of online games which are being used by over 30 different online gaming and online gambling operators. The company is made up of more than 40 staff members mostly developers.
The most common products released by Ash Gaming are online slot machines, fixed odds games and games in the area of virtual races. Over its course of existence the venture managed to win many industry awards and received praise from mainstream publications. Some of its most famous games are Amazon Wild and Madness House of Fun.
Playtech released that the acquisition of Ash gaming will highly benefit the company. The biggest gain of Playtech according to the company's CEO Mor Weizer is that Playtech will be able to considerably expand its game base as well as its capabilities of developing new games due to the takeover of Ash Gaming's technology.
The company revealed that the takeover will also increase Playtech's presence on the global online gambling market due to the fact that the operators using Ash Gaming software will from now use the Playtech software. CEO Weizer explained that due to the takeover, Playtech's presence will especially increase in the United Kingdom and other European countries.
