Party Poker announced it will soon launch a series of competitions that will award skilled players will a fantastic trip to Germany to attend one of the biggest festivals on the planet, the Oktoberfest.

This Friday, Party Poker will organize a VIP Oktoberfest Race that will last until August 21st, in which players will be able to win PartyPoints. The top 7 players with the most Party Points will be sent to a trip to the Oktoberfest event in Bavaria, Germany.

But besides the trip, players that finish the competition on places 8 to 25 will be given guaranteed cash prizes of $250, places 26 to 75 will win $100, and players finishing on places 76 to 400 will receive an entry to the VIP Oktoberfest and Super Gadget Freeroll.

After the first VIP Oktoberfest Race will come to an end, a new one will be organized right away. The second race will be organized between August 22nd and August 31st and it will offer exactly the same prizes as race number one.

On addition to the regular prizes described above, anyone that finishes on one of the top 25 positions in both races will be awarded a 16 GB Apple iPad2. Players finishing on places 26 to 75 will get a 64 GB iPod Touch.

The VIP Oktoberfest and Super Gadget Freeroll will be organized on September 4th and the top 2 finishers of the tournaments will be rewarded with an Oktoberfest prize package. The remaining top 30 players will receive Apple electronics as prizes.

The Oktoberfest prize package includes accommodations for two nights for two people at the Le Meridien hotel in Munich. Breakfast, drinks and dinner will also be assured and winners will benefit from free transportation across the town, and will get $600 spending money.

Players wishing to participate in these events will have to opt in first and accept the terms and conditions. It's not possible to transfer the prizes to other players, and the trip to Germany is not exchangeable to real money prizes.
