Renowned online poker site Party Poker announced it would abolish all forms of rage for multi-table tournaments, meaning that 100% of the money wagered by players will go into the prize pool at each individual poker competition.

Many experts attribute this unprecedented move as a strategy to lure the hordes of players now abandoning Full Tilt Poker to Party Poker. After the Alderney Gambling and Control Commission withdrew the gaming license of Full Tilt Poker a huge number of poker players began looking for new sites to play at.

A Party Poker spokesperson explained that for example if a tournament has a $200 buy-in and a 15$ entry fee, from now one it would become a $215 buy-in and $0 entry fee tournament and 100% of the money will be added to the pot.

The spokesperson in question further added the following:

"Fees being waived on MTT's is just another reason why there has never been a better time to play at Party Poker.com in a secure environment where prompt payments are guaranteed whether you are a micro or high stakes player."

Players also need to be aware that the rake has also been waved from satellites, as well. For example, a satellite for the Summer Million that will be held on the 7th of August will have a buy-in of $640+$0, compared to $600+$40 as it was before. Several other tournament satellites, like WPT Paris and GSOP Manchester will also be rake free.

It is not known for sure how long this promotion will last, but sooner or later it will come to an end. But as of now, the promotion is ongoing, and will remain so the next weeks to come.
